Ive got a tin of last years saved seed from my sweetcorn can I feed it to my chickens ??

If it's hard whole seeds it will need crushing into small bits about the size of a wheat seed.

Don't feed too much as its fattening, but you can add it to some wheat and barley - I'd say about 5% of total - and give them a small handful each in the late afternoon.

It's your own seed ? the go with Aunty, wouldn't feed commercial seeds as some come coated with a germination enhancer, but usually it's a pink coating.

No I don't think you are wrong Aunty I too thought R66VEY meant saved seeds from home,  but then I thought I'd better add just incase.
