hi i have just candled my eggs for the last time, 16 days, one of them is wriggling inside but haven`t seen any movement in the other, only checked for a couple of seconds though.
do the developing chicks sleep and i just caught him at a lazy time or could he have died?
any info greatly appreciated.

Either is possible but wait and dont keep peeping or it may just die anyway

It will either hatch or it wont but its not long now

I have candled eggs that looked very dead and they have still hatched

I agree with CC on this.  Leave them be now and see what happens!

Ive thought a few were dead but then they came hatching out so you can be surprised!

I agree with the 2 Above, Let them be and see what happens, what will be will be  Ive had eggs that i though were duds and they still hatched, Ive had eggs hatch as early as 19 days and as late as 23 days, so you can never tell 100% whats going to happen...But then again isn't that part of the fun
