Sounds good. he's obviously looking for a fight cos he thinks he's da man.

If you show him you're not afraid and can put him in his place, he should show you some respect.

Just don't upset him by pinching his girlfriend

Good luck with it.

i did have a fight with him when he went for me i pushed him away a number of times

and i did push him hard but he just come back for more

it seems to me he has gone loopy

maybe its a genetic thing or a problem with his brain

i cant have a bird of his size attacking me every time i go to feed and do water or collect the eggs

if he dont settle in the next few days or he starts on the hen

then ill have no option but to end it he was fine one day the next bam
i wish i had done the ducks

i really do

You need to try Aggy and Munty's advice. With a board, he'll just wear himself ragged until he has to back down. He knows he can fly at you and you'll back off eventually.
With a board in front, he can't get at you and he'll be backed into a corner until he calms down.

I've not done it, but I'm sure Munty has and it makes sense.

Give it a try before you give up on him.

Hey NP I used the board method (length of decking) for months i put up with it, some days he would not attack others he would but i was always on my guard.  It does kinda take the fun out of keeping them if you can't interact with them  I tried everything except giving him a cuddle  if any one thinks i should of then i will personally take them to cuddle yours for you NP

good luck don't give up too soon try letting him know you are the boss (difficult I know).

If he's only got one hen she'll get badly damaged.  He should have about ten to a dozen in his harem  8)

Does he free range NP, or is he stuck in a small run like the one in your picture?  He may just be going loopy to get outside????
