As we say goodbye or perhaps good riddance to 2020, it's time to look ahead and get prepared for the coming year, 2021. Let it be better!.

Preparing for a new growing season is good medicine for whatever ails you I reckon.  It might not protect against viruses, but it boosts your mental well-being beyond all measure  :)

2021 will be better as we have vaccines in use and on the way.  To use a war analogy to go with your book, we are not just sitting ducks any more and have some bullets to shoot back.  The tide starts to turn for us, maybe slowly at first and still sustaining losses, but we begin fighting back  :)

Well said New Shoot.

Keep safe everyone.  Don’t take your eye off the enemy and get yourself shot before you’re vaccinated.

I agree, my daughter Georgina and my GD  came for a chat yesterday, and to collect some Christmas fabric masks I had made for GD :)
However because of Georgina's lack of immunity, they stood on the path while I stayed in the doorway. Far from ideal, but neither of us were prepared to put the other person at further risk.
She said that yesterday at work (she answers 111 calls) she had answered 3 calls in a row which required emergency  ambulances to transfer people to hospital. She was quite down, and terribly cross with people who don't follow the basic hands/face/distance rules. Something even idiots should be able to understand  >:(
