Club root spores in manure?

Up here in the beautiful Shetland Islands, I was given some cow manure by a local crofter which I happily spread on my veggie patch. I subsequently found out that his land is contaminated by club root (known as "finger and toes") locally and his brassicas and some of his parsnips and swedes have also been affected.
Am I likely to have, unwittingly, transferred the club root to my garden via the manure? If so, is there anything I can do (other than beating up the crofter)?

Parsnips do not get clubroot. Could it be something else..such as pesticide residue?
