It's time we had a competition.
Something to do with spring would be nice,.
Any ideas ?

How about the best daffodils?
We have seen daffs round here since before Christmas last year, and there are still several pots in the garden just with buds on!
Nearly four months of these delightful bulbs must be a record, and to celebrate this event would be one way to get some decent pics!

Fabulous idea Growster !
We'll go with that, Your very quick post with a great idea is rewarded.
Daffs it is :D
-
I am honoured, Aunt Sally - even humbled! Thank you!
We bought some 'Rip Van Winkle' daffs today, and they are just exquisite, so that's why they were so high in our current thoughts!
I'll have to send off for a new film for the old box camera now...:0)

Hahaha... or is it? Growster you may be telling it as it is lol !

Humble - yes, Sunny, but it's true about the daffs, we found them in a lovely nursery near here, called, funnily enough, http://www.thewallednursery.com/index.php
It was part of the kitchen gardenery to go with a lovely big house called Tongswood, which is now St Ronan's School!
We should really go there more often, but needs must when the devil drives...

I feel linked as we live in a road by the same name 😲

What, 'Devil Drive'...?

Where's those pictures, Growster? I'm expecting you to be the first to enter one!
-
I only took them today, Auntie, and a couple yesterday, so I need to get them resized and posted PDQ!
You know I'm not up to David Bailey standard, more like a fudge Brownie...
-
Oh, alright then, here's the first...
(Are we allowed more than one go?)
You might want to a) read the rules and b) post the entries in the competition thread ;)
