Being a confirmed feet and inches guy,  what 2 metres are I cannot fathom!

Cheers,  Tony.

Tony, apparently size isn't everything - or so I'm told...

Just add a bit and think of England!

Just wondering how long is a barge pole so I looked it up. Apparently it's about four meters which equates to about 13 feet. Whose feet they were using at the time of measurement I have not the faintest idea. Perhaps a fossilised imprint of a Tyrannosaurus Rex foot might inspire one's imagination as to what's the best yardstick to use when certain morons decide to have a barbie on the beach when everybody else is in lockdown.

Could it be an Argy-bargy with these bloomin idiots.     Did you see the cyclist at Box Hill, with the police and the road closed.      Could the police confiscate their bikes and then make them walk a barge-pole apart to their homes .  Mrs Bouquet
