Hi jonewer fellow fan  :D

I like the waves alot. it is my favourite Madeira finish. Any Ardbeg my favourite to, especially the 10 in that price bracket. If you have not tried the Laphrioag Quarter Cask would get that rather than the 10 as it virtually the same price and much nicer, in my opinion lol.

Whats the superstition like as im thinking of getting a bottle? As i got a jura 10 for Christmas very nice but i still prefer Islay!

You can certainly come to my shed for an after dig dram! cheers.

Hi, never really fancied quarter-cask, I think its relatively characterless when compared to the regular laphraoig. Probably the reason its cheaper too, reckon its a commercial failure, supposed to be an upmarket version but ends up being cheaper because no one buys it. Would still like to try the 15 yr laphraoig sometime....

I reckon Jura 10 is the best budget malt out there. Superstition is ok, but no better (and perhaps worse) than Jura 10. I cant quite remember... guess I'll have to try both now to make sure   :D  seriously though, dont think super jura is worth any extra money, nor is Bowmore enigma much better than legend.

Try the A'bunadh from Aberlour, cask strength, very heavy oils, and seriously deep and rich sherry casking. Waitrose had them on special over Christmas... bought meself 2!

Don't have an allotment, don't have a shed.

Do have a bottle of 20 year+ old Glenfiddich hidden away.

My back garden. I have taken it over

Looking for allotments in my local area but way long lists. I have the space for gorilla gardening as there is a lot of land near me but i havn't done any yet. I plan to plant a whole bed of spuds (£3 from wilkos) in a hidden spot on some land near me and leaving them to see if they grow. You never know what could happen.

I'm diabetic so it's vodka for me with diet coke. Tescos own as it's the only one that has no effect, Put me on the 'real' stuff and I go away with the fairies. Don't even go down the lane of pub 'soda stream' type diet.
