I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

No shed on my allotment, but it's only a two minute walk away. My girlfriend is very kind and fetches me down a couple of bottles of cool pale ale on a warm day, otherwise I crank up the stove and it's tea or soup for me, especially on cold winter days.
I save the malt until i'm sat in my jim jams after a nice warm bath :D

I would love nothing more than to indulge in a bit of me favourite homemade sloe gin out of my hip flask when I'm in me shed at the bottom of the garden..........

HOWEVER, with all of these bl****n bugs that have been going around this winter and sinusitis and laryngitis and everything else I daren't touch anything!!!  I feel cr***y enough as it is without alcohol in me system as well     Second thoughts, that's probably what i've been doing wrong

Where's that bottlo sloe gin

What a good idea! Have thought about making my own wine and I could do it in there and store some white type it in those plastic bottles and pretend I'm making some solar heating system for my greenhouse so that hubby won't cotton on. Methinks the wavy lines on the lawn after I've had a mowing session might be a bit of a giveaway though! :drunken:
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I hadn't thought about having a stash in my shed, but now the idea has been mentioned I will probably have a brandy to celebrate every digging session! Thanks for the idea! :D
Ex battery hens were the perfect choice!

Hi jonewer fellow fan  :D

I like the waves alot. it is my favourite Madeira finish. Any Ardbeg my favourite to, especially the 10 in that price bracket. If you have not tried the Laphrioag Quarter Cask would get that rather than the 10 as it virtually the same price and much nicer, in my opinion lol.

Whats the superstition like as im thinking of getting a bottle? As i got a jura 10 for Christmas very nice but i still prefer Islay!

You can certainly come to my shed for an after dig dram! cheers.
