Things to sow now

Hi, I have read things to do now, I have just been bought an 10 x 6 Greenhouse for my Birthday, I am so excited, ive always wanted one, What other things can I get sowing in April please,  I dont have anything growing yet, nothing except Ground Elder lol

You could get your beans going, runners, french, borlotto etc, and pumpkins can also be sown indoors now!

It might not be too late to sow some leeks, then there's cucumbers, courgettes, salad leaves, brassicas and toms, but you could always buy some small plants from your local garden centre.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

January King cabbages, courgettes...

Why not also look at greenhouse cucumbers such as telegraph, or indoor peppers/chillies and tomatoes as small established plants? Put them stright in the ground in your greenhouse and theyll probably do rather well!

For something a bit different you could plant some Ginger and Turmeric in tubs and see how they do in there?

Definitely not too late to be sowing leeks. Since I started sowing them later (around now) I get far fewer flowering - none from last year with still a few to harvest.
