Title: Hi from Northumberland!
Post by: DeanoB on July 06, 2017, 21:37
Hello everyone!

So my name is Dean and my parter is Becky. We have just got our 1st allotment! :)

Between us we have very little experience but alot of passion to grow our own fruit and veg and possibly, at some point, have or own hens.

My experience is mainly garden maintenence with my grandad as a kid and building alot of 'dens' out of whatever we could find.

I have lots of questions and would like to pick your brains for ideas and advice so that i can lean on the wealth of wisdom you have collectively to hopefully avoid the mistakes of an unexperienced allotment owner.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hello Dean and Becky 😀😀

and congratulations on your first allotment. Allotments are so much hard work but are soooo worth it!!!  Do take photos when you start, as it will change quickly and it is great to be able to look back and see what it used to be like!

And of course, we like seeing them too 😉
