After flowering, do you leaave the tubers in over winter, or dig them up and store them for next year?

I'm pretty sure the tubers are not frost hardy.

Lift them once the foliage has blackened after the first frosts, cut stems down to about 3", put upside down to dry out and allow moisture to escape from the stem, and then store in dry peat or compost in a frost free place.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
