my horse is very ill
« on: November 17, 2009, 17:02 »
:( :( this afternoon when getting my 15 yr old little boy in i noticed one eye was very cloudy instantly i figured he had just gone blind , the other eye is starting to cloud over  so i got on the phone to the vets who are coming out tomorw  it seems he may very well have uveitis which is potentially not good news in horses  :( :( :(

Sorry to hear that Looby.  Have looked in my 'Horse Doctor' book and it's not listed.  Without going in the loft to read through my other reference books, I have no idea.  Not something I've come across before.  Hugs anyway and I hope it all turns out well.

it is treatable but propably very expensive so glad i never cancelled my vet insurance , i think i am just in shock hes so adorable and after spending the first year and a half of his life being beaten an then finding me this just isnt fair for him  :(. he was that badly beaten that even after the 14 years i have had him i  still have probs touching one side of his head . i shall find a piccy of  lorrie  :D
