Is this chickweed?

I have always believed this to be chickweed.  Can anyone confirm this for me please?

That is Speedwell. Should call it Seedwell as I have got a lot of it in my flower beds! :( If you don't want it, hoick it out as soon as possible otherwise it will take over. >:( :mad:
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Thankyou everyone.  I needed to know, as to whether it could be given to my rabbits.  If it's speedwell it cant.

Sorry WW, chickweed! lol.  Sounds obvious from the name, but doesn't always work that way does it? My Dad Always gave the chickens chickweed, and because its so tender, the young chicks can have a bit from a couple of weeks old.  Not too much though, in case it give them tummy ache!

From the photo, I can see a blue flower and slightly reddish stems and am sure it's speedwell because chickweed has white flowers and green stems, plus the shape of the leaves is slightly different. If that's not speedwell,, I'll eat my shorts!  :)
