One of the girls I work with has had to hand rear some kittens as the mother cat wasn't producing enough milk ( the owner doesn't really look after it very well) they all had fleas and eye infections when she got them but she took them to the vets and got them all sorted :) she asked me if I would like one of these kittens ( a little grey girl) and of course I couldn't say no ......... However OH would say no, so I just haven't told him :s iv been sneaking aroung buying kitten bits and bobs without him knowing so far ! He will love it when he sees it so fingers crossed he doesn't find out beforehand :tongue2:

You know the rule when you get it - piccies :D
-
Yes ! I will have to think of names too
-
Names ?
Thought you were admitting to only one kitten ;)
-
Lol sorry one name..... But who knows she has a few Ginger ones left and a black one .........
-
Oh my friend just text me to say the grey one was promised to someone else so now I'm getting a Ginger tabby boy ! Lil disappointed but still excited
-
Hmmmm...you think you've got problems. I'm looking at horses!
I'm sure he'll love it when it lands...won't he?
-
Nice one, got to be crafty in this world.
I wanted to go to a reptile show, but said I couldn't buy anything as the o/h won't let me.
Some kid told me, "Get him to drop you off, buy what you want, when he picks you up, say you won it in a raffle"
At least that's what he's telling his mum ! :D

Gingers are full of character :D

Little boys are just lovely once they have had their nuts off. Before that they can be a bit boisterous. Another bonus though is that the cost of neutering a boy is much cheaper than a girl. I always fancied a ginger cat, they seem to have such character. Your OH will be chuffed, he can do some male bonding with it. My Freddie is a real softie now, and just loves being rocked to sleep in my arms. Doesn't stopping him mousing and catching birds though unfortunately!
Cant wait to see a piccie of your new addition. Im cat MAD!

Okay another change in plans we are now getting the little grey girl again lol! Been to see her today she's eight weeks old and soooooo skinny and small :( told oh I was going for a coffee with friends so he suspects nothing we already have two male cats (sully- black cat yellow eyes and boo- tabby with white bib) they will be two in November. Iv got my mum and sister in on the plans too.... Mum understands me she once had four cats all rescues she couldn't say no to....maybe that's where I get it from ha ha ha!
-
Oh well, three can eat as cheaply as two!! ;)
Im quite jealous actually, I'd have 6 mogs if I could, I just love them.
-
Well ours eat James well beloved which is £27 a bag so not too cheap but hey they are worth it ....just adding to our menagerie of two cats two rabbits five chickens two musk turtles and about 100 guppies will need to buy a bigger house soon if this keeps up

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission =D

Ooh, lovely - I love gingers - we've two ginger brothers (they were going in the canal in a sack if they weren't homed that day! How can people be that horrible? ) and they're so different in character, both quite mad though!
We've also got a big squidgy tabby, a Siamese and a Si-Rag (Siamese x Ragdoll).
I love cats and have always wanted a grey one but I think I may have to draw the line at our five!
Can't wait to see photos of your two new additions :) :)

Why do we have to sneak around when we want to get more pets? I wanted to get another rabbit and my OH half just said 'NO'. I was really upset that he could talk to me like that. I know I have already got a dog, 3 cats, 13 chickens and 2 rabbits. So, anyway I went and got her anyway. I am 41 years old and not a child!! Hazel the rabbit has been absolutely fine and the OH has not dared say anything else!!
