hi a neighbour of mine has just bought a howerd gem rotavator he could not get it to reverse this is the way to get reverse if any one has a problem with it slow engine to very slow put rota out of gear put main gear lever to reverse position then push clutch lever towards the wheels the machine will move slowly backwards if reverse is engaged with rotas in gear the engine should cut out if reverse lock is working correctly jezza
