Went to the Seedy Sunday in Brighton and picked me up a ton of different Heritage seeds.

He managed to get a couple packs of Cape Gooseberry, but it has really poor growing instructions on the packet.

Can anyone help with;...when where and how please

I grow these and they get really big nearly 4ft tall and almosts as wide ... they have spreading roots ... and hate the frost so get them going quick !!

It says to support them, are they are climbing plant, or just need support like tomatoes??

I allowed mine to grow as bushes in a row planted about 18" - 24" apart ... I suppose that they supported themselves!!

If you have a windy site a cane would help to steady them!
