We have 17 chickens, 3 quail, 2 dogs, 3 cats and that's enough (for this week)

Okay please help me out here!!!! :unsure:

How come my photos are so small when I attach them to messages?  everyone elses seem much bigger!!! Also I can only add about 3-4 pics at a time yet others seem to be able to add loads!!  I am so envious please let me know what I am doing wrong and how to get it right.  I am not a techno wiz so please explain in laymans terms!!!!! LOL

It depends if you use the facility below to attach photos directly, or use a web based photo host like photobucket :)

Photobucket allows you to upload from your photobucket account. :)

Hello

I've posted on here a few times but haven't got around to posting any pictures of my girls, so here you go. 

It was much harder than I thought as they either wouldn't stay still or I ended up with a picture of just their bums ... so I'm afraid this is the best I could manage  :wub:

Here are our 3 week old chicks, they started off black & yellow, so their colouring is starting to come through now.

When can you start to tell if they're boys or girls?

Lovely!  :D but i would say 3 on the right are boys and possibly the front left but the back left could be a girl!  ???Do you know what breed they are? ??? some breeds like leghorns get bigger combs early even the hens!

They are a cross of hybrid (brown hen), and an Ancona cockerel.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more girls!  lol

p.s.  How are you guys able to guess.. do you go by the feather shapes or something?
