cuckoo marans pale-ish comb no eggs

Hi all,
I have a cuckoo maran who I got at Pol at the end of October.  We have had maybe six eggs from her in that time so there has never been a regular supply.  I noticed today that her comb is no longer a deep red but slightly pale at the top.  Is there a problem?   She is grumpy at the minute but eating and drinking and free ranging fine.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Is it just that she is still young and hasn't started to lay properly or might she be ill?

Thanks Newshoot, that's great.  She hasn't lost any weight and the coop is clear of beasties. I have started a new cycle of Flubenvet too so I shall wait and see.  Thanks for the reassurance.
