Glory of the Snow
« on: July 13, 2011, 18:23 »
My attention has turned to next years cut flowers and I've got a long list of bulbs to order ,not to mention expensive(£112 so far).
I fancy Leucojum(Glory of the Snow) as I like the flower but I like value for money from my plants and most of them (apart from geraniums) have to double up for cutting or as a herb.I know it isn't a herb but is it any good for cutting? If it is I'm hopeing it would plug the gap between daffs/tulips and aqualegia etc etc.(Mrs Sion01 likes her cut flowers)

Sorry for the mistake above geraniums are herbs(herb robin etc etc)

Leucojum aestivum is the Summer Snowflake and flowers in April and may. Spring Snowflake flowers in Feb and March.

Glory of the Snow is a different bulb, Chinodoxa

and it is quite small/short and probably not much use for cutting  ;)
