Thanks for the gardening tips, I've copied them into a new file so that I can refer to them over the year!  Especially the asparagus tips, pardon the pun   :lol: because I'm going to have to move the plants off the shared allotment - my 'partner' hasn't struck a bat for ages - onto Plot 8, of which I am now the proud fully paid up tenant !! I'll share with my hubby - who's got the gardening bug and has been down there more than me, pitting his muscles against the weeds!

no problem jeanie i enjoy sharing ... erm my wisdom? on growing stuff .besides its not mine its a collection of other stuff ( except muntys frame)

 gathered from older wiser now deceased heads .i cant be doing with all this modern rubbish thats spouted out about growing things ,after all the earth was doing ok before we started messing about with it .ok ok so i have to think about how we now get the seeds growing with bigger harvests but me i reckon the seeds etc do most of the work anyways  :wink: lets remember that thousands of years ago eygpt was the bread basket of the world  :wink:

By the way the reason Eygpt was the bread basket of the world was that the top soil in some parts was 6 :shock:  miles deep.
