Hi Folks,
Many years ago, (probably at least twenty!), my wife bought some plastic stacking freezer trays from Lakeland. They are 360mm x 210mm x 50mm and we have used them over the years for open freezing all sorts.
They are now showing their age but we can't find anyone that sells them or anything similar. Lakeland stopped making them years ago apparently. Does anyone know where we can buy some more from?
Many thanks.

I'd love to know if you find some at a sensible price. I have two shallow rectangular tea trays in the freezer at the moment separated by yogurt pots. Not very stable  but the best I have found to fit!

I have been looking for the same kind of thing in stainless steel (for a faster freeze) but no luck so far. Some good strong plastic ones will do if anybody spots some.

would baking sheets with something betwee them be any good id never heard of frezer trays before but they sound like a good idea to me

I'd never heard of freezer trays and they do sound a good idea so I had a google but couldn't find anything. I freeze using a plastic tray, putting a tea towel down first to take up any water, it always works quite well.

I use a pizza tray, with holes in the bottom to allow air circulation.

I just use a tea tray with kitchen roll to soak up moisture so far been lucky and its not stuck to frozen item :D

I too am looking for freezer trays of the type that Lakeland (Plastics) produced. Ours are really battered and bruised - about 16 years old now I think!

Hi if you contact Lakeland plastic of 015394 88100 and tell them what you are looking for they are normally quite good at finding what you want.

Hi, Iv'e tried to get these for years without success. In the end I just bought some gravel trays from homebase @ 1.99 each and they are perfect for the job. ::)

You can buy freezer trays from most supermarkets, they come with free mushrooms, tomatoes and sometimes meat. Cheers, Tony.

I just use shallow metal baking trays, and move the frozen stuff into bags once frozen.
