Well we're up by 6.30 except for weekends then it's 8, and the first third thing I do is let the chooks out, feed the rabbits, feed the cat's, make breakfast and lunches, it's only after all that I get dressed and by then it's about 7.30 ??? gosh I didn't realise I did so much, no wonder I'm shattered by9pm
May this day be blessed with gifts, understanding and friends.  Merlin 2001-2012 Pandora 2001-2013 xxx

With the change of seasons I think it's time to reprise this thread.

Today is chillier and wetter than it has been for a long time so today I went out in my hot pink jumper, bright red raincoat over the top and of course gumboots (wellies).  To complete the visual symphony I couldn't find a matching pair of rubber gloves so my left hand was yellow and my right hand was lime green.  I was carrying a bright blue bucket in one hand and a bag of grain in the other.

What did my lovely chickens say when they saw me?  "FOOD!"  I love it that they can overlook my appearance and appreciate the real me.

Titter  :D

I have a chook dressing gown so that they recognise me   It's bright purple veloury towelling material. Very, very warm, quite long so only a bit of leg shows.  To complete the combo I don my green rubber clogs.  If it's raining I put my parka on top.  Very catwalk chic - not!  :D
