when letting out your chooks?  Sunday is the only morning we are able to have a lie in as we are having the house renovated around us.

We decided last night that we would have a lie in this morning (after a few tipples), so instead of the usual jeans and wellies I trundled out of the house in pink strippy pj's, daughter's black ug boots and my faithful white fluffy dressing gown with a green snug pack over to keep me warm (I'm 57 look younger though LOL and a  size 18, so must have looked like Shrek!) so imagine my surprise when I heard a voice wishing me good morning!!!!
There on the top of the valley were our neighbours looking absolutely astonished. I have never let the girlies out so fast.  What has been your most outrageous outfit you've worn to let your chooks out?

Ha ha, i let the hens out in my pj's and wellies every morning - i'm sure i look very fetching lol!! We're in a terraced house and our garden is over looked by about 6 houses, i never linger

Pink fleecy Pj's this morning, Violet Wellies and scarlet puffy jacket.  No neighbours can see me but I expect I was rather visible to the chasse in the adjacent field!

We need a photo thread of everyone in their chicken-suits!  I love the idea of all thise pjs and wellies first thing in the morning! 

I don't even have chickens yet, but each morning I head out the back door for a quick look around my "farm" (just an ordinary back yard really...)

In winter I wear a huge, white, fleecy bathrobe that my husband calls my "polar bear suit."  My footwear is usually cloggs, or if it's very wet gumboots (wellies).

In summer it's a blue and white kimono and jandals.  (Jandals = Japanese sandals.  I think you call them flip-flops?  Australians call them thongs but in New Zealand a thong is a whole different garment!)

I'm a pj's and wellies girl with a white fluffy dressing gown!!  The chickens got a shock this morning when they came out and all they could see was my head - all white with the snow!    I don't have too many neighbours, but have been caught out a few times!

Usually OH lets the chooks out but if it's me pjs, dressing gown and boots.

However last week because I was working, posh clothes and heels which got stuck in the mud and I had to change my tights, note to oneself, don't wear heels in the mud

In this weather its the full kit, undies, vest, jumper, socks, fleecy trousers, scarf, coat, jerkin, hat,  gloves and wellies as both me and OH are nude  sleepers so dont have the luxury of PJ's
