The bench thingy under the television he made yesterday with oak bought by his grandfather 70 years ago to make coffins :happy:

That's really beautiful. Such a labour of love. I like the ridge tile, the lovely beam and the piece of furniture. It all looks just stunning and like it's always been there. What a really rewarding project. He should be immensely proud   :)

Yeh, and thats just what the architect  put in the plans.  OH asked  him to change it for one in green oak.  The artichoke said did we know it would cost a fortune and thats if we could find someone to make it.  OH said he needn't worry about that, he'd make it himself.  :tongue2:   :D

It wasn't until i started to get the photos together that i sort of realised what he'd done.  Its not massive but hes got a lovely finish to everything.  Hes not been too well this year and has just started to be fit enough to work again.
I'm please you think it looks like it always been there compostqueen as he said he want to make it look like a converted pig sty :lol:

Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Its one of our South Devon cows with her calf.  We had a ceramic artist make it for us as a joint Christmas pressie last year :happy:



Dont know about sit and enjoy Sue, the bit I have been waiting 10 years for comes next, the new kitchen :happy:
