Half price seeds at Thompson and Morgan online. Just got the email today, thought I'd let everyone know.

If you bought these 1/2 price seeds would they be okay for next year?

Yep most seeds are viable for a year or so easy, even packets past their sell by date will germinate but you will probably not get such a high success rate.
I keep opened packets for a year or so and still get results, there are notable exceptions, angelica springs to mind supposedly the fresher the better.

Trouble is, do I get them now at half price, and forego those winter nights when there's nothing better than snuggling up with a seed catalogue, and planning next years crops?

I've just recieved an order from suttons as they had free delivery  

Oh well, what can you do. I may have to order some from T&M for next year as the consensus seems to be that the seeds will be fine till then.
