Not as cold as yesterday, breeze has dropped considerably.  Spent most of the day in the greenhouse clearing it out so   protected from the chill.  Not looking forward to the temperature tonight which is predicted to go as low as 3 degrees.

We've just had a walk along the beach it was lovely in the sunshine 17 deg's today

It was cold damp and miserable this morning, but the sky cleared at lunchtime and once the sun got going it was quite warm enough on the plot 18C

The runner beans are liking all the rain we've had lately, I'm picking a good late crop from the garden wigwam

The BBC said this morning the rain would get to us at 11am, well it was 20 minutes late and hasn't stopped since.  Interesting drive along the Military Road this afternoon getting buffeted by the wind in unprotected areas.  Temperature dropping very quickly.

Heavy rain forecast from 1100 onwards today, but only had a couple of millimetres here.

Forecast more accurate in other respects - very dark here in Sheffield at 2026!
