There's nothing better than feeling arms around you when you're in a dark place,
Especially when their fingers point you toward the end of your darkness.
These are your true friends who love you for what you are and not for what you're not.
They don't give one jot when you've had a bad hair day.
You might forget what you've done for them but they never will.
Go out and pick some flowers from your garden then tie them with a ribbon.
There's someone out there with an empty doorstep or maybe an empty life.
Knock on the door then gently place them on the step.
Give that love back just to show someone cares for them.
There have always been people out there.
The frightened, the abused, the old, and the penniless ones.
Why does it take an epidemic to bring out the goodness in people
That makes life for us so much more worth living?
I so wish I had my lovely piano when I used to play Beethoven's' Moonlight Sonata.
Sometimes I played his Pathetique followed by his Appassionata.
I'd love to have it now so I could open my windows to let the music flow.
Trouble is, there is no-one here to listen.
Maybe I'll just play it in my mind.
I'll try to get all the notes right but they might not be in the right order!
