leeks

my leeks were doing great last week ,now the leaves have all gone soft and mushy is it too late to harvest them

Firstly I've moved the post to GYO from the Welcome forum, please pop back there and introduce yourself.

I'm willing to lay odds that it's leek noth, seems to be prevelant this year and they've hit mine.

One school of thought is to chop the leeks to ground level and let them shoot again. The harvest will be much reduced, but you'll get something, hopefully.
