Title: what Vegetables, like manure in the ground

could someone please tell me what vegetables do well in manured soil and the ones that don't before i cover the whole plot in manure in the next couple of weeks.

Don't do your roots, (unlike Mrs Digger).

Peas don't want too much.

Spuds are not a root veg by the way, they are tubers and heavy feeders so they appreciate it.

Brassicas like it but make sure to put it on the previous autumn so that you can lime before setting them out in spring.
