I'm impressed really, it's amazing how much more free time there is to do what you want to do when you don't have to answer to someone else.  Even when hubby was in hospital for a few days, I was so much more organised and did a lot more of what I wanted.

no im not quite that bad. just gonna do my own things and see what happens

im not in any rush, but having said that the last 5 years have gone so fast its unreal!

you ought to try ginger in marmalade - it really is lush  :wink:

congrats on the jam , ginger is one of my most favourite things specially dipped in very dark chocolate,in jam in puddings in every thing in fact

i havent seen any chrissie,

well it set! so im a happy bunny!  made up 3 full jars and 1  half full/empty

i may give that a go when i get into things a little more, but yes the bug has landed!  

i keep looking through books to see what i think i  could make so i know what to buy to plant :D

am i ment to leave jam for a while like chutney etc?

the jam can be etaen when its set n cold i like mine to last a while tho so dont touch it till winter lol :lol:

i will use up the half jar and store the others until crinbo time i think
