my chickens sleep in a converted shed which is quite big and i want to make sure they are warm enough now its getting colder, i only have 3 hens in there so its quite big for them so they will no doubt be colder, what can i do to make sure they are comfy over these cold months?

could you partition half the shed off and use it as a food and accessories store, so then the hens will be in a smaller area and having their own feather duvets they will nice and snug

Make a box about the size of a tea chest and put a roost bar in it and a pop hole and some ventilation holes.  This should retain their body heat for them.
