hi,
i am thinking about rearing some orphan lambs next year to use for meat later on in the year. does anyone have any experience they would like to share.

we thought of doing that too!  Apparently they get very tame, follow you about like dogs.  We were put off by a local sheep owner telling us that sheep can suffer from 101 different diseases, the first symptom of most of them is death!  However, he did say we should give it a go but the lamb in question had already found a home so we didn't in the end.
Good luck if you do do it, I would be interested in the results.  :)

Sheep die for fun.
Get pigs they have less ailments.
