My OH drinks a lot of peppermint tea.  Is there a way to make your own and what sort of mint is best.
I'm not tight :wink:  but homegrown is always better :D

Yes, black peppermint Mentha Piperita is the preferred mint for tea according to my herb book

What do you do with it?
Rip leaves off and dunk em in boiling water? or are there proper recipes? :?

handful of fresh leaves per cup, or equiv of whole-leaf dried mint.  Draw for no more than 10 minutes.

I suggest you plant in containers since mint is very invasive.  Replant every 2 to 3 years

You can but spearmint or Bowles mint would be the norm for that.
