Title: Decking out the shed
Post by: cardoon queen on August 28, 2019, 18:26
Any ideas for inside my newly arrived 6x4 pent shed .. it's set on wooden battens on concrete and I'm fine painting the outside but what have people done on insides?? It'll house the lawnmower, strimmer wtc. It has a nice long shelf and lots of angles I can put hooks I guess. Could use old carpet I guess but prefer something for winter boots etc.lino??  Any type or rack system for hammer, screwdrivers etc that I can hang across the end walls??

I give mine a coat of preservative - Cuprinol - on the inside as well as outside. For hanging stuff, nail a batten across uprights and hammer nails into that to hang things off. Dirt cheap and effective.

lino / carpet can trap moisture
I have the red bent wire (screwfix, Aldi etc) for holding spades etc as well as bamboo canes.
