Photo Competition #9 Winter - The Voting
« on: February 05, 2009, 16:48 »
PRIZE:  Pick a Prize from Babe's Shop!

It's the perfect time to get snapping - snow scenes, closed schools, sheds looking more like igloos! It doesn't have to be a snow scene though - just something wintery.

We had a re-think - please post your comments as well as photos on here now!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The simple rules:

  • You can enter one photograph into the competition.
  • It can be anything you want that sums up winter for you
  • It should be accompanied by a short title and some description.
  • The competition is open to all "Full Members".
  • At the closing date we will add a poll for members to vote on and the most popular photo will be the winner.
  • The winner will receive a prize as listed above and the winning photo may be placed in a permanent photo gallery along with the best runners up.
  • Closing Date for Entries: Saturday 28th February 2009 when voting will be allowed by all members until Saturday 7th March.    Now extended until 14th March.

Tip: Photographs around 640px wide look best. The system will reduce larger images automatically but small images are not altered.

The competition voting is now closed and the results are:

1st - Jennyb with 19 votes

2nd - Ice with 7 votes

3rd - Sadgit with 6 votes

Winter in Bicker

So quiet and peaceful!!!

Brief Description?    Our front garden in the snow, before the cars started going up and down spoiling all the lovely whiteness.  I'm not sure what the tree is the other side of the road, but it looks lovely whatever the season!

Only problem, becaus I'm made it smaller, I now get make it bigger without spoiling it!!

Just warm enough to venture outside after light dusting of frost in december.

Trampoline

Was very tempting in the end we had great time on it and all the snow went in to little snow balls so we had a great snowball war... and the snow got heavyer

Title: Time to run!

My youngest daughter on the left had already pelted her big sister pretty hard before deciding that now was probably the right time to do a runner quick before she got caught!
