Hi there

I have chicken manure and also blood fish and bone. Reading through forums some say blood fish and bone is good for some veg and chicken manure better for others. 


Can anyone assist on whats best for what veg?

use both i use chicken poo from my chickens  but add some blod fish and bone to get them started a quick meal so to speak.

chicken manure is high nitrogen so anything leafy and BFB has less nitrogen but some phosphorus so is good for leafy crops and for roots.

Chicken poo must be well rotted or you will find leafy crops such as brassica might get burnt.  Our chicken poo goes on the compost heap for a year before hitting the allotment.
Friend on the plot next to me uses chicken poo pellets and has a great deal of success

BFB I always us liberally on my Onions and Shallots - also use it in the salad bed for turnips, radish and carrots.
