Red Duke Of York- Nothing doing
« on: May 23, 2011, 17:04 »
I have Red Duke Of York in bags that are healthy, earthed up and watered. I have had a good dip with my hand right down inside and nothing. Not a single spud. :(

First earlies take 90 days to grow and you have only had therm in the bags for about 60 days.

Feed and water them and wait  :D

Still no flowers and no spuds. Fed, watered as required. I thought they were first early ! My Charlottes are much healthier and have overtaken the reds.

Reckon the frost in April has knocked back the earlies coupled with the drought.
Mine are starting to flower now but will still leave them until the end of next week.
