I picked up my Dad's 30-year old Kirby Lawson VK-30 Combi Rotavator Lawnmower and had a guy get it going for me. It only lasted about 2 hours of use and now has no output power and stalls regularly even just mowing the lawn.

I don't want to have to haul the machine to the guy every time I get a problem and would like to be able to tweak it myself without breaking it again!

Does anyone know where I can get a service manual or what the common cause(s) might be?

Hi, update on the lawnmower/rotavator - it's actually a Mountfield M2, with a Kirby Lawson engine (made in Australia of all places!).

I had a go at it earlier today and found that the air filter was blocked, so now all is running smoothly again.
