I have a few in my plot still - I sowed them quite late to be honest and although they grew quite well they haven't formed particularly large heads yet.  The packet says harvest between August and Feb, but I was wondering if they are likley to get any bigger between now and then or will they stay pretty much as they are?

Mine are the same.  They're not really what I'd call cabbage sized.
I was thinking of covering them with a horticultural fleece to see if that helps them.

I really don't think they'll get much bigger. Once they start off again, they'll no doubt just run to seed.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Is it the same with the savoy cabbage? quite a few of mine haven't made much of a head yet. :(

If they won't get any bigger i might as well start eating them as the earlier ones are all gone now.

And what about leeks will they grow any more?

It's the same with most things that are sitting there doing not a lot at the moment.

Once the warmer weather comes, the natural cycle is to flower & make seed.
