away from my office - flooding my seed trays?
« on: March 19, 2008, 16:37 »
I'm away from my office greenhouse experiment for the Easter weekend as of tonight and I'm worried about all my little seedlings that are coming n a treat.

I have cell-trays standing in big seed trays at the moment - I'm planning to put an inch of water in the bottom of the trays so the seedlings/soil can leech the water up over the time I am away.

Is this sensible or will they just drown or rot??
Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

Not the herbs though. Is the heating coming on, whilst you are away, if it doesn't, don't do it.

Well, in any case I'd be tempted just to water them well and pull away from the window pain, it's only a few days.
