this chicken keeping business is bad for the pocket isn't it??? I have just been to market and come home with two white silkies

, so I currently have, one bantam coq, three mille fleurs, three (I don't know what they are, they are half size brown hens) and two lovely fluffy white silkys. Trouble is, they stand out like a sore thumb, so I can't really say to hubby...'oh no, they aren't new, I have had them ages'

they are so cute though.

Sorry about the pics, will do tomorrow as my husband has taken the camera to work :roll: . And, I blame munty for my increase in flock, as apparently he says 1 coq to 13 hens

....ooohhh, so by my calculations I have room for a few more

there is a chicken show next weekend, so .......................................

it is addictive, how do you all stop taking in chickens? I never knew there were so many different types.
