proper eggs
« on: January 28, 2016, 20:17 »
Our hens are moulting but still laying, lovellly little birds (2 only that is) :)

On Monday we were going to have a "Burns" supper with Haggis, Cheese sauce with Whisky in it and pancakes. Well our Daughter and Son-in-Law could not make it so we did it on Tuesday.  Our Daughter commented when seeing the batter. "How did you get that batter to go bright yellow?" My wife replied "Our eggs!"

There was still some haggis left over, as we had cooked two, so we polished off this evening with the last of the cheese sauce and 6 of our eggs scrambled. Absoloutely fabulous :D

Know what would be nice in your garden, a few hens lol
