Fall Canning Season

Just when I think it's over, the apples are ready for processing! Today's lot, 7 quart jars and 3 pint jars of peach applesauce. Yum!

I thought I'd finished with the sauerkraut done this week...then the neighbour sent round a crate of Gala type apples. :D

Peach and apple sounds nice, but no peaches.

Thanks, it's really yummy :). Peaches aren't in season here, but I had frozen some from the lot I picked this summer. (Which now seems like ages ago!)

It certainly does! We have young peach trees with not a huge yield, so all the white peaches were eaten warm while sitting in the paddling pool, we only had three from the yellow peach tree. Maybe next year.......
