Title: Tomato Blight
Post by: Countryman_uk on June 22, 2012, 15:41
Hi
i was given some graffted tomato plants which are grown for a well known seed company, i was given four plants and i have put them along side my own plants that i have grown from seed in my polytunnel, for some reason these four plants are showing signs of Blight, is there anything i can do to stop the spread on to my own plants, i have lifted the dieseased plants and im going to spray the rest with Dithane 945 , is there anything else i can or should be doing??
thanks

Rob

The first question, after whereabouts roughly are you and is there blight on the map near you, is are you sure its blight? A picture might be useful..

Oh, and welcome to the forum. :)

Although there are no reported instances in your area yet, it does sound suspicious, doesn't it?

I have 80 plants in my polytunnel and only these four seem to be the only ones effect, going up tonight from work will take a picture and show you.
