Title: bl***y ants
Post by: chrissie B on September 18, 2007, 08:20
now there is a little dampness in the air the snails are back and back with vengence so out with the slug pellets , quick as a flash , went out next morning thinking i would find loads of bodies , not a one and no pellets either , so i put out some more down and went out later and cought the ants nicking them .why dont they affect the ants they nick every thing , i planted some seeds the other day and they dug down and pinched most of those as well , i got some ant powder and covered the pellets in it and they dont touch them now , my only worry is that i may cause some chemical reaction putting the two together.

I'd love to know if this really works against the ants ... http://www.chat.allotment-garden.org/viewtopic.php?p=65308#65308

I don't have any / many ants so can't really try it.

who said we were going to have rain , its still cracking the pavements here .
i have found though if you sneek out in the dead of night in your nightie and have a sprinkle there are none around and if there are the sight of me in the nightie finishes them off .
