Hello All
I am after a bit of advice. I think I may have over watered my tomato seeds. Is there anything I can do, or do I just keep my fingers crossed?
Many thanks

Just keep them warm (but don't overdo the heat in an effort to dry them out) and hope for the best.
I'm assuming they're in a container with drainage holes......
-
Thanks mumofstig, that's what i'll do, although I did put them by the Aga yesterday! (oh dear!)
You are correct they are in container with drainage holes.
Thanks

Sit the container on something absorbent and it should help to drag the water out!
-
Many thanks, yes I put some newspaper at the bottom of the container so it looks like I'm on the right track.

Cheated a bit a put another four seeds in a separate pot without too much water this time!

That's not cheating. That's sensible. :)

And the saga continues, put another 5 seeds in last night, without too much water, and you'll never guess, 2 of the over watered ones have pushed through. We are in with a chance!
Cheers for the advice all.

Good news :)
You'll soon have too many, as is usual :D
-
And we now have 5 seeds which have pushed through as well as both of my squashes. Happy Days!

And now 8 from the original 10 have pushed through, that will do nicely! :D
Thanks all

Cheers snoop. Now looks like I've got too many as the other spares I put in have all pushed through too!
Ah well my Father and my in laws can have some of the spares.
