My neighbour on the allotment has told me I should be building rabbit proof fencing around some of my beds. if I don't he reckons the rabbits will have a feast.
Does anybody know of a good online supplier of chicken mesh, as I'm sure that would prove cheaper than my local DIY store.
I live in Tyne and Wear, so there are no farming suppliers in my area, so an online store will probably be the better bet.
Thanks

I am looking for some myself I need around 100m so will be watching this with interest.
I have looked and these seem to be reasonable http://www.meshdirect.co.uk/Chicken-Wire-Netting.html
I am not jumping in yet tho because I hope a bargain will come along.

We find Hills of Devon good price for weldmesh haven't bought chicken wire from them, but very good service and quick delivery!
The farmers around here use the plastic orange netting to keep bunnies out.

Hills of Devon for me. Cant comment on prices cause I haven't used for 4 years. But back then, prices and service were first class.

I've also bought mesh from hills of Devon a few times - always had good service.
