As most of you probably know, I help at a refuge for abandoned dogs. Last week I put a ohoto on a facebook site for this area of Spain (Antequera, buy swop and sell) of a pup we have at the refuge, and he was given a home, well he will be given a new home, nest Saturday- the folk have paid their 50€ and get him after the microchip, jabs etc next weekend.
About 2 months ago I put a photo of a Bretagne (?) Spaniel on the site and this morning a lady has enquired about the spaniel!! Please can you all cross your fingers for the doggy?
Thank you
Pamela

I don´t think they will come to see her, as they are a 2 1/2 hour drive away..... but you never know! Fingers crossed.

They got a Spanish Water dog instead, so we still have Bretona with us. :(
Our neighbour Juan told me that his cousin wanted me to take 3 or 4 Galgo´s (like greyhounds, used for hunting) to the refuge, as his cousin does not want them any more.... I told Juan we do not have the room for 3 or 4 Galgo´s, which is very true, and that we are there to help lost/abandoned dogs, not just because his cousin does not want to be bothered with his dogs any more! I gave him a phone number for a Galgo rescue place, maybe they can help him. The cousin has a huge plot of fenced land, the dogs have a big, newly built kennels, they are fine where they are- let them look after them!! >:(

Sorry to hear about that. Sad that people seem to think dogs are disposable :(
