hope you can help -
one of my girls (a ranger, nearly laying) seems to have sore/itchy eyes and seemingly inflamed feet. i noticed what seems to be blisters on the top of her feet and they look generally a bit bumpy and rough. her eye is usually closed int he morning (no discharge or stickyness apparent) but later it will be open although puffy. she is using her foot to scratch at it a bit.
she does look rough (bless her) and he comb is paler than usual. she is eating, drinking and preening it seems, but early to bed and late to wander out in the morning.
wondered about whether it could be leg mite (all the others seem ok, touch wood).
have some vitamins to give her in a day or two (not in stick at the store).
any other ideas - suggestions of how to help etc would be fantastic. i new, although i am sure you can tell!!

Would you be able to post any photos up of the feet ?

No idea myself of what the problem might be other than speculation. Is your chook free ranging or in a run all day ? If ranging, could there be anything she's walked through to cause the blistering ?

I'm sure someone more experienced will have some sensible suggestions before long.

Photo would help,  don't know about the eyes - stumped     If it doesn't resolve quickly I'd consult a vet just in case there is any damage.  Can you do an eye picture too.  Use the macro setting on your camera (little flower symbol).

oh goodness me... i havent got a clue how to post a photo.... i have tried and tried!
can anyone explain in REALLY simple language as i am not too hot on the computer...
